The city of Gig Harbor, Washington has welcomed us with open arms and beautiful scenery that makes this event one of a kind.

Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation gets invited to the USO Northwest Red White & Blue Golf Classic 2016

We've always have a great relationship with USO Northwest, and for the fourth year in a row the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation was invited to attend the USO Northwest Red, White & Blue Golf Classic!

Come learn about Race For A Soldier at the Sound to Narrows on June 11th!

Once again, the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation has our booth at the Sound to Narrows where you can learn about our race, our foundation, as well as pick up a shirt or memorabilia. So swing by, say hi, and enjoy the race!

Come see us at the the Maritime Gig Festival parade on June 4th, 2016!

The festival features the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, a Classic Yacht Festival, the Grand Parade, the Round Rock Contest, food vendors, music, and loads of children's activities.

Martin Park runs local marathon in 48.5 pounds of gear and raises $3,300 for the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation!

We just can't say enough to thank Martin Park, a 24-year-old former active duty Marine (now a reservist) for going above and beyond to "create some visibility for a real national problem," for promoting our race, and for donating to the cause! 

The Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation is humbled and most grateful to TOTE Maritime Alaska for their generous contribution of $10,000 to support our mission

Since our first event in 2011, thousands of runners have run for a cause in beautiful Gig Harbor. If you're ready for the long haul (the half marathon) or prefer a slightly shorter haul (the brand new 5K run/walk), this is an amazing event to be a part of.
