Race Registration Party
September 9th, 11am - 9pm

We're happy to announce that a registration party will take place at the lovely Boat Shed Restaurant in Bremerton! Kathy and Brett Hayfield, the proprietors, are offering an appetizer to anyone that comes in and signs up on this day, plus we'll be around to talk about the event, answer any questions and celebrate the event that's just around the corner.

The Race will once again run through Canterwood on the morning of September 28th, and the community will once again line their streets with flags to honor the runners! Be sure to show your support and cheer them on!

Is running a half marathon or walking 2 miles not your cup of tea?

You can still get involved! Sign up to be a volunteer, as many hands make light work.

Speachless over Old Town Rhythm & Blues Festival donation!

The Old Town Rhythm & Blues Festival organizers chose to donate THOUSANDS of dollars to the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation! They could have given the gift to any organization, but chose us this year.

The Tom Taylor Family YMCA is once again offering child care at Race For A Soldier

be the start and finish location for the Third Annual Race For A Soldier Half Marathon. Race participants are welcome to access the facility at no cost after the race. Run for a Cause

Since our first event in 2011, thousands of runners have run for a cause in beautiful Gig Harbor. If you're ready for the long haul (the half marathon) or prefer a slightly shorter haul (the two mile walk/run), this is an amazing event to be a part of.
